BETHPAGE PRO SHOP SALES AND USE TAX POLICY STATEMENT
BETHPAGE PRO SHOP RECOGNIZES that sales tax is a very important source of funding for most state and local governments. We have prepared this Sales Tax Policy to explain to you when and why we collect sales tax on your purchases.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Your purchase is NOT exempt from tax merely because Bethpage Pro Shop has elected not to collect the tax from you at the time of your purchase. Unless you live in Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire. or Oregon, your state most likely requires purchasers to report all purchases that are not taxed and pay tax on those purchases. The tax may be reported and paid on your individual income tax return or by filing a consumer use tax return. For more information, please visit your state's department of revenue website.
BETHPAGE PRO SHOP COLLECTS SALES TAX in states where we have physical presence (or nexus), including New York.
**New York Customers:**
Be aware that tax will NOT show up in your order confirmation e-mail. It will be displayed during checkout, and in your order confirmation, account history, detailed invoice, and any invoices from Paypal, your credit card, or bank. We utilize a third party software for calculating and tracking sales tax, it currently does not report on our confirmation e-mails. We are working on a fix.
BETHPAGE PRO SHOP DOES NOT COLLECT SALES TAX in any states NOT listed above because Bethpage Pro Shop is not required to collect sales or use tax in these states.
FOR OUR TAX EXEMPT CUSTOMERS:
BETHPAGE PRO SHOP DOES NOT COLLECT SALES TAX if we have your exemption certificate on file, or you are shipping your order to a state that does not collect state or local sales or use tax.
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will accept your return and either make an exchange or issue a refund within 30 days of original purchase. Products must be returned in the original, unopened packaging in the same condition in which they were received. Please check your items before opening to ensure they are correct. We are happy to exchange unopened items with original packaging for a different size, color, or design at no charge, just cover the shipping. If you exchange for a product of lesser value, the difference will be reimbursed to the card or account used for the original purchase. If the product is of a higher value, an invoice will be issued for the difference, the new product will not ship until payment is received. Returns for refund are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

-Obtain a Return Authorization by visiting our Return Authorization Request page. Utilize the "Reason for Return" box to specify which product you would like to exchange the returned product for, if applicable.
Please be sure to clearly write the RA# on the outside of your package.
