Bethpage Pro Shop has been servicing golf players from around the world since 1935. Nearly 300,000 rounds of golf are played at Bethpage's 5 courses, including the infamous Black course designed by A.W. Tillinghast. This course played host to the 2002 and 2009 U.S. Opens, and was the first public course to have that honor. In 2012 it will play host to The Barclays, among other smaller events. The Black course is consistently ranked as one of the best public golf courses in the country, and has topped Golfweek's list for the past few years. The Red course is also high on the list, making Bethpage one of the few places where you can play 2 of the top courses in one location. In addition to some of the finest public golf courses in the country, Bethpage offers many other ammenities. There is a fully stocked, professional level Golf Pro Shop in the expansive clubhouse, practice greens, a driving range, and lessons from our resident PGA pro and Director of Golf, Joe Rehor, PGA Assistant Golf Pro Ron Faiella, and Jimmy Lee. Whether you're looking for lessons, trying to polish your skills on the putting green, or test yourself on one of the toughest courses in the country, Bethpage can accomodate your needs. If golf isn't your sport of choice, Bethpage State Park also has tennis courts, an Equestrian Center, and some amazing places to eat in one of the most breathtaking parks the northeast has to offer.
